Aqua Divers
Open Water Diver Training Program
Have you thought what it would be like to glide through inner space (water) and venture where many people only dream of going? Scuba allows you to do just that. As a diver you glide over amazing coral formations, explore sunken shipwrecks or enjoy a local dive site. Anyone can learn to scuba dive with the Proper Equipment, Proper Knowledge, Proper Skills, Experience and a complete total diving system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of age, no upper limit.
- Be comfortable in the water, we can help with this.
- Be in reasonably good health, a short medical questionnaire must be completed.
- Have an open mind and a willingness to learn.
- Want to have fun.
Phase 1 of our program
Includes your class tuition, your education materials and pool training.
Also includes unlimited practice time in our pool and the use of the Life Support Equipment
during pool and practice sessions.

Phase 2 fees are paid at the time of the Open Water dives

Course Description:
After completion of pool training and practice sessions you will have the comfort to proceed to the open water. These dives are done in either Monterey or in the summer season the dives can be done in one of the much closer local lakes. If the cold water is a concern, it is possible to arrange for your training dives to be completed in a dry suit instead of a wetsuit. Ask for more details on this option.
For your safety, all equipment used during training or on our trips must meet or exceed the service standards set forth by Aqua Divers and SSI
